About Me
Hana Luna Her (she/her/ella)
I am a Hmong Southeast Asian American artist from Fresno, California. My parents are immigrants from Laos and Thailand. I started my art journey with graffiti, which taught me the importance of self-expression, and later transitioned into muralism.
Through my work, I aim to create public art that brings people together and strengthens communities. I’m currently a student at my local community college, working toward a B.A. in Sociology to better understand and support the communities I work with.
I have a deep appreciation for Mexican and Chicano culture, as many of my mentors and friends who influenced my art come from these backgrounds. I’m inspired by Mexico’s rich history of muralism and hope to experience and learn from other cultures around the world.
I am still discovering my creative voice and working to sharpen my skills. I’m exploring this journey through my passions for art, travel, and building meaningful connections.
